Psychiatric Genetic Testing:

Making Medications More Effective

If you are struggling with medications for mental health conditions like depression, anxiety or ADHD, you are not alone.  We know the process of finding medications that work can be frustrating, time-consuming and debilitating. Fewer than 50% of individuals with depression respond to their first medication.  That is why we offer genetic testing for psychiatric medication optimization for California residents.

About Our Psychotropic Genetic Testing

Our psychotropic test is a genetic test that shows your mental health care provider how your genes may affect medication outcomes. The test may reveal which medications to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD and other mental health conditions will work best for you. It can also help determine dose adjustments, which medications may be less likely to work, and which may have an increased risk of side effects based on your DNA.  The test is a simple cheek swab that can be taken in our office or in the convenience of your home.

We accept insurance.
